Shipping policy
1. Order Processing & Dispatch
All DELGU candles are hand-poured. Standard Processing Time: Please allow 2–4 business days for your order to be prepared and packed.
2. Shipping (Australia Wide)
We ship nationwide from Kellyville, NSW 2155 using Australia Post (AusPost).
3. Delivery Timeframes
The following are estimated timeframes provided by our carriers:
• Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days.
• Express Shipping: 2–4 business days.

While we aim for delivery within these timeframes, they are estimates only. DELGU is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from delays caused by third-party couriers or events outside our reasonable control. 4. Authority to Leave (ATL) & Transfer of Risk
When shipping with Australia Post, customers may have the option to request that their parcel be left in a safe place (also known as Safe Drop or Authority to Leave), where available. This option can be modified by the recipient through their Australia Post MyPost free account while the parcel is in transit. Learn more about Australia Post’s “Leave in a Safe Place” option here.
Where a parcel is delivered to the nominated address in accordance with Australia Post’s delivery processes (including Safe Place delivery, where applicable), risk of loss, theft, or damage transfers to the customer once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, subject to any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Heat Sensitivity: DELGU is not responsible for candles that soften or melt after successful delivery due to exposure to heat, sunlight, or placement in hot mailboxes. Customers are strongly encouraged to ship to a shaded delivery location where possible.
5. Incorrect Address & Re-Delivery
It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address. If a parcel is "Returned to Sender" (RTS) due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, a re-delivery fee will apply to resend the order. DELGU is not responsible for parcels delayed, lost, or misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
